WooHoo Tax Refund App by NzTaxRefunds.co.nz

Earlier last month NzTaxRefunds.co.nz released their “Woohoo Tax Refund” app for iPhone and Android. This mobile app is the first of its kind in New Zealand and is sure to increase NZ Tax Refunds market share for the younger demographic. The app itself is fairly basic, offering no actual new features other than just another interface for you to use their tax refund process. What the app does offer you is a low fee rate of 14% and eligibility into special price draws.

On initial release it appears the tax refund app was full of bugs such as drop down lists not working and being painfully slow to use. NzTaxRefunds were quick to fix these bugs and released an update resolving these.

This is a rather smart calculated move by NzTaxRefunds who will know how much the average tax refund is for the target age demographic of the app. We are guessing the average for this demographic is no more than $280, at which point it would be cheaper going with a flat fee tax refund agent.
